So relaxing and peaceful! We had so much fun exploring this beautiful and thoughtfully curated home with all its perfect details! The projector for movie night, the stage for karaoke, and the hot tub make for a perfect getaway! Thank you again so much!

The coolest place we’ve ever stayed! From the hot tub outside to the heart shaped bathtub inside, this home is STUNNING! The thought that went into designing and decorating a place like this is insane! The home theater, full kitchen, and at home karaoke stage gave a private resort feel that we loved, we hardly left the house! 10/10 no notes, this is one of the coolest places to stay in Michigan! Thank you for a fantastic vacation and a memories we will cherish forever! ❤️
Probably the most magical weekend of my life!
I hosted a small women’s getaway for a weekend at the Sweetheart Hideaway. We were all completely awe struck by the immaculate design of the home, every thought out detail, and the fun and creative energy that you saw in every corner! We enjoyed both the hot tub, and the heart tub. Some of our favorite parts were the disco stage or karaoke corner as I like to call it, the TV and VHS in the kitchen, all of the plush carpets, and each room having it’s own personality! They have created the most perfect, nostalgic, and cozy home that I have ever experienced. Along with being amazing interior designers, the hosts were incredible hosts! They were super responsive with any of needs that we had, and also proactive in communication letting us know about Wi-Fi interruption before we were even aware and we were able to help us super quickly resolve that! They were accommodating in every way, we cannot thank them enough for everything and this stay.
Amazing, one-of-a-kind stay!
We had a fantastic stay at the Sweetheart Hideaway! We absolutely loved the hot tub, the beautifully decorated rooms, and of course, the stage for karaoke. Gathering in the kitchen with coffee to watch old VHS tapes was also a wonderful throwback.

In the best way, this place feels like Alice and wonderland with all the hearts and themed rooms! I now want to entirely reimagine our bedroom after staying in the pink cloud sunset room. I got to live out my childhood princess vanity table dreams, and I’m on the hunt for sunset wallpaper to put up on our ceiling!

I never thought I’d feel so much love as a single person at a lovers getaway. But I was completely taken care of.
Every room is filled with so much love, care, and attention to detail!
You can walk into any room ten times and you’ll notice some amazing design choice for the first time, every time!
Somehow both wild and comforting at the same time.
Any place that pulls off a secluded Midwest cabin vibe (major points for the half-dozen VHS movies we watched) while simultaneously encouraging disco ball dance-offs is a major win in our book 👌🏽
This place is brimming with an absurd amount absurd amount of personality, charm, color and whimsy.
Every year friends and I do a retreat to SW Michigan. This year we tried this house, and I’m VERY glad we did. There’s clearly been a huge amount of love and attention to detail put into this place, and it really shows! There’s the stunning decor of the rooms themselves, and then there are these details and things to do in every corner. The hot tub, the VHS player in the kitchen so we could put on Aladdin while we cooked, the fireplace, the projector and the karaoke stage (!!!) The kitchen was well kitted out for cooking our meals together and perfect for a large group. We were all blown away by the place, and are pretty stoked to have a weird and wonderful spot like this in our corner of the midwest!

The house is secluded, serene, kitschy and in perfect condition. My group stayed here to celebrate NYE - we loved the hot tub and the stage in the living room that is hooked up with lighting and a microphone! Each bedroom is themed with its own unique identity. The entire house is filled with thoughtful touches and fun surprises. It’s even better than how it looks in pictures. You’ll want to come back ASAP!
